Eurovision fans are upset about the date of the federal election

This morning Scott Morrison announced the date for this year's federal election - May 18, in case you've been living under a political rock. However, the decision that caused controversy along many, namely fans of Eurovision.

Eurovision is being held in Tel Aviv, Israel this year between the 14th and 18th of May, with the Grand Final airing around 5am Sunday morning in Aus. The election coverage will run from Saturday afternoon and people seem genuinely concerned about it.

Don't even get me started on the Game Of Thrones finale that weekend as well.

It's gonna be an exhausting few days. Hopefully the election goes better than Australia usually does in Eurovision.
