24 hours of wild weather and flash floods for the Shoalhaven

Yesterday's wild weather cause havoc across the Shoalhaven and Illawara with roads in the region being subject to flash flooding.

Emergency services have been in demand, attending over 57 rescues over the last 24 hours, most of those involving vehicles. With the NSW SES advising to stay out of floodwaters. 

With wet weather expected to continue throughout the weekend and into next week, senior police from the Traffic & Highway Patrol Command are urging caution on and around our roads.
